The Tommy John Show, launched in 2020, is a sports podcast hosted by Tommy Lane and Johnny Misiasz. Since they first met on the playground at the age of 6, Tommy and Johnny have created a friendship through their mutual love of sports and hatred of each other’s favourite franchises. Over the course of thirteen years, Tommy and Johnny have discussed sports with friends, classmates and colleagues, offering unique and informed takes on what is happening in the world of sports. Concordia University Communications student and avid sports enthusiast Thomas “Tommy” Lane is one of the co-founders and co-hosts of The Tommy John Show. From a young age Tommy has taken part and followed a variety of sports ranging from football to tennis. Since then, nothing has come close to capturing Tommy’s heart or attention quite like professional athletics. Through his new platform, Tommy hopes to create resource and source of entertainment for all sports lovers whether your a football fanatic or UFC junkie. Ever since he was a child, John Peter "Johnny" Misiasz III has always been drawn to sports. All throughout his childhood and teenage years, he graced many different fields with his talent, namely the baseball diamond, the basketball court and the gridiron. Today, he continues to play baseball in the summer and hoop all year round. Johnny brings to the table a vast knowledge of many different sports, however his bread and butter is the NBA. Johnny is from a town in Connecticut not too far from New York City, so he loves to root for the teams from the Big Apple. His favorite squads are the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and the New York Knicks. Johnny will take his talents to downtown Montreal this Fall and study psychology at McGill. Gavin Delaney was born in Rutland, Vermont on June 29, 2001. At the age of four, he and his family moved across the country to Las Vegas, Nevada. In Vegas, Gavin developped an appreciation for and a talent in many sports. However, the two he loved most were baseball and hockey. In 2011, he and his family moved yet again to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he currently resides. He met Tommy and John at Loyola High School, where the trio played football and rugby together. He continued to play hockey until age 16 and still plays baseball to this day. His favorite sports teams are the Toronto Blue Jays, The Vegas Golden Knights, the New York Jets and the Montreal Canadiens. He studied commerce at Dawson College and will study Business at McGill University this fall. Instagram: @gavindelane
